A fabric building installation is a unique process, different than any other building construction. Installations include special techniques and tools that an experienced fabric building installer provides. Milestones Building and Design provides supervision services for customers who install their fabric covered building with their own labor and equipment. Retaining an onsite Milestones Supervisor will provide you with the experience, and knowledge of those necessary techniques for the proper installation of your building. Plus, this will insure your warranty is initiated.

The following list outlines the most common reasons for retaining a Milestones Onsite Supervisor:

Base Plate Layout

This step involves the location and placement of the anchoring hardware into your foundation. This is one of the most important steps of the install. If done improperly it can have a profound effect on the outcome, jeopardizing the engineering and overall strength of your building.

A Milestones Onsite Supervisor can insure the installation of your foundation base plates is done properly.

Erecting the Trusses

The handling and placement of the trusses is the most challenging part of a fabric building installation; especially for those buildings over 80ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢ wide when the process changes and the equipment used changes.

Many customers retain a Milestones Onsite Supervisor to guide them through the first few truss bays, and to make sure that the truss installation is properly done.

Pulling the Cover

This is by far the most technical and product specific aspect of the installation for every fabric covered building. The greatest potential for damage to occur is during the cover pulling process.

Your Milestones Building and Design Supervisor has the experience, knowledge of the techniques, and tools used for this unique procedure. Retaining our Supervisor insures your cover is installed without damage and insures your warranty is initiated due to proper installation.

Your Installation

To retain a Milestones Onsite Supervisor for your fabric building installation, the costs breakdown is as follows:

All "project management time" including phone calls, travel, time on location, and meetings, will be billed at $50 per hour.

2.

All "hard cost items" including equipment, tools, access fees, etc. are billed at cost plus 15%.
